Various topics, studies, speakers and discussion. Actively support, encourage and assist each other. Various socials and service projects throughout the year. (Mostly couples and some singles, ages 65 and up.) Meets in room 103/104.
“Whenever I meet with young couples and they ask me why they should be part of the church, I tell them about the Builders’ Class. It is here that young couples came together and formed a supportive community. Then they had children and they shared with each other the challenges of parenting. Their children grew up together as friends and formed their own bonds. It is here that they shared the difficulties of dealing with aging parents. It is with this community of people that they shared the joys of the accomplishments and marriages of their children. It is here that they came to terms with their own mortality. It is here that the bonds of love and support have woven them together into the best of what a Christian community can be.”
